Emotionally Focused Therapy
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) is an evidence-based, experiential therapy that helps individuals understand, process, and transform difficult emotions. Rather than simply managing emotional reactions, EFT helps clients identify the underlying emotions driving their experiences, allowing them to develop greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges. EFT is commonly used to address anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, shame, low self-esteem, emotional avoidance, and unresolved experiences that continue to affect daily life. Many individuals find it particularly helpful when they feel stuck in recurring emotional patterns or disconnected from themselves and others. At our clinic, EFT is integrated within a comprehensive treatment approach tailored to each individual’s needs, helping clients process emotions at their source, strengthen emotional resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
