Andrea Maracle

Andrea is a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) with over 25 years of clinical experience. She offers a client-centered, trauma-informed approach grounded in the belief that healing occurs in the context of safety, collaboration and compassion. Andrea focuses her practice on trauma-informed care with veterans and first responders, including supporting their families and caregivers in understanding and living with PTSD. She recognizes the unique occupational stressors, cumulative trauma, and relational impacts often experienced by those who serve, and she works collaboratively to foster resilience, nervous system regulation, and meaningful recovery.

In addition to her work with veterans and first responders, Andrea supports adults who struggle with anxiety, OCD, phobias, depression, PTSD, grief and loss. She has a particular interest in helping clients who feel stuck, self-critical, or overwhelmed regain a sense of clarity, emotional balance and self-trust. Andrea utilizes evidence-informed treatment modalities and carefully tailors therapy to meet the unique needs, goals and pace of each of her clients. Her various integrative approaches include, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Narrative Therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). As an ART Trained Therapist, this innovative processing therapy uses guided bilateral eye movements and imagery techniques to help clients process traumatic and distressing memories in a gentle and effective manner without having clients relive events in detail. ART can be used as a stand-alone intervention for PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, phobias and panic attacks.

Andrea is also trained in Direct Neurofeedback (Lifestream), which is a safe, non-invasive brain training intervention that supports nervous system regulation through real time brain feedback. By allowing the brain to recognize and adjust its own activity, direct neurofeedback helps improve autonomic nervous system regulation, resilience and overall well-being. It is commonly used to assist clients with symptoms of trauma (PTSD), anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, focus and attention, ADD/ADHD, and emotional dysregulation.

Andrea offers a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood and empowered. Whether you are seeking support for a specific concern or navigating the complexities of trauma and recovery, Andrea welcomes the opportunity to walk alongside you on your therapeutic healing journey.
